It is NOT about ME.

Another Challenge....

To quote from their blog:
What is it?

Well, we'll tell you what it is NOT... It's Not About YOU.

It's about SOMEONE ELSE.

It's our chance, each of us, to shine our light on someone else, much the same as we have tried to do with MISSION: Monday.

Huh? Whaddya mean?

We each spend a lot of time talking about ourselves and our lives, but we are also fairly GIVING people too...Tuesday's Tribute is a chance to talk about OTHER people, OTHER blogs, OTHER lives.

Still lost...what would I write about??

How about...A blog/blogger/business whose work you love that you want to help promote to your readers? (example)

A friend or a loved one who you respect? (example)

One of your kids who just accomplished something great?

A cause you feel strongly about?

A Fundraiser?

So, if it isn't all about ME - Let's make it all about HER:

Sorry Dad - I love ya - but this is for Mom.
Let me tell you about this lady,
Strength:
She is strong enough to carry the weight of the world on her shoulders.
She was strong enough to watch her father take his last breaths.
She is strong enough to keep a happy face and kind words for her Mother and Sister.
She has the strength to continue to help take care of my blind Grandmother.
She is strong enough to take care of my very mobile daughter.
She is strong enough to take care of ME.
She was strong enough to work in one workplace for 35 years.
She is strong.
Caring:
She cares enough to tell you when you have something in your teeth.
She cares enough to send random cards to you in the mail.
She cares enough to buy your favorite food at the grocery store.
She cares to enough to buy gas when she knows you are poor.
She cares enough to listen to me and Andrea when we have had a horrible day at work.
She cares enough to help me with making Olivia's baby food.
She cares enough to go with me and Olivia to every doctor's appt. (During pregnancy as well!)
She cares enough to be making Astoria's complete bedroom set without being IN Texas to do it!
Kindness:
She is kind enough to help ANYONE.
Her kindness shines through gardening, scrapbooking, quilting, sewing, embroidering, etc.
My mom is the best. I love you Mom!
